Bio:

 Eric O. Rogers, Ph.D., is a Professor, Educator, Consultant, Author, Pastor/Teacher, Writer and Social Critic. 

A native of Earlington, Kentucky, Dr. Rogers calls St. Louis, Missouri, Nashville, Tennessee and Chicago, Illinois his adopted homes. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University (Nashivlle, Tennessee); a Master's Degree in  Psychology from HarvardUniversity (Cambridge, Massachusetts). In addition, he earned the Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the University of Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky). He is currently actively involved in Postdoctoral Study at HarvardUniversity in Cambridge, Massachusetts and theological study at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas.

Furthermore, Dr. Rogers began his professional career as a Marketing Consultant for the Transamerica Corporation in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. Also, he has lived and worked in Boston, Massachusetts, New York, New York, Nashville, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, and St. Louis, Missouri. Equally important he has held numerous professional positions inclusive of the following: Research Assistant , a Private School Teacher, and a  Staff Psychologist engaged in counseling and psychological testing/therapy.  In addition, Dr. Rogers has also served as an Educatioanl and Testing Consultant for the ACT(The American College Testing Service) in Iowa City, and the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, New Jersey, where he administered standardized testing (SAT,GRE,LSAT,MCAT,DAT, NTE, etc.). He is also a former Chielf G.E. D. Administrator.

Academically, he has served as a higher education administrator as a Director of Testing and Assessment .He is a former Federal Invetigative Officer with the U.S. Department of Justice (EEOC-Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) in St. Louis were he has investigated over 5,000 cases involving race, age, sex, sexual harassment, nationality, religion and disability discrimination in the workplace in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Dr. Rogers is a 6-time former “Teacher of the Year " recipient and has taught at various universities and colleges inclusive of the  University of Kentucky , Roosevelt University, Missouri Baptist University, DeckerCollege, LindenwoodUniversity, and MaryvilleUniversity. Most notably, Dr. Rogers is an ordained minister and has served in the role of pastor for five churches spanning a 20 plus year ministry career. He currently pastors the Church Without Walls, a national and non-denominational teaching ministry located in Chicago, Illinois, St. Louis, Missouri and Nashville, Tennesse.  

As a 20 year veteran in higher education and published author, Dr. Rogers is a 2003-2004; 2004-2005, and 2005-2006 national recipient of  "Who's Who Among America's Teachers". Dr. Rogers is a widely sought after national consultant and lectures nationwide on issues relative to the Church, Religion, Ethics, the Family, Christian Education, Church Leadership, Marriage and Family, Mental Health, Children and Youth, Pastoral and Christian Counseling, Evangelism, Culture, Race-Relations, Social Justice and African-American History. He serves on numerous professional boards and community organizations and is a published author ( I Think I'll Preach Awhile (2007); Wounded Minister: Reflections of A Former Pastor (2006) and Race, Education and the Continuing American Dilemma (2004).

The Church Without Walls administrative and professional staff include an array of men and women with graduate, clinical and professional backgrounds and experiences involving academic, educational, social services, governmental and business knowledge, skills and clinically trained expertise in the areas of counseling, marriage/family,education,leadership/training, mental health, family therapy, human resources, and ministry.  Professional staff members also serve as liasons and consultants and workshop,seminar and training specialists.
