“Pastoral Counseling-Consultations” with the Church Without Walls Ministry means that we provide spiritual and religious consultations, dialogues, and advisory- discussions services that are sensitive to the spiritual viewpoints and values of our clients regardless of their faith affiliation or practice.  Staff consultants are careful not to impose any particular religious viewpoint or value onto others; however,our moral, spiritual and religious perspectives are based on Christianity (the Gospel of Jesus Christ) with the belief, understanding and conviction that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour, the Son of God and the Author and Finisher our faith.  An important supporting belief in our “pastoral counseling-consultation” work is that an individual’s spiritual life may be a valuable resource for resolving conflicts, healing wounds, and creating meaning and value in the lives of persons who seek counseling.

Confidentiality:

Information shared by you in group or individual counseling-consultation sessions will be treated with strict confidentiality, and is protected to the full extent of the law. That information will not be disclosed to anyone outside the ministry without your written permission except when, in the judgment of your consultant, such disclosure is necessary to protect you or someone else from imminent danger.  All consultations are provided with confidentiality.  Each client or individual requesting a consultation is provided an informed consent form specifying rules, guidelines, expectations, fees, goals/objectives, etc. A client may cancel, withdraw, decline or discontinue any and all services at any point time.

Clients:   Services are provided to private individuals, churches, ministries, organizations, agencies, parents, working professionals, etc.   Individuals must be 18 years or older to receive services.

The Consultants with the Church Without Walls ministry deal with a wide variety of human questions, problems, dilemmas, issues, conflicts, stressors concerns, crises and challenges based upon God’s word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We donot offer professional psychological or clinical counseling, therapy, and treatment for disorders, illnesses, etc. Such issues require in-depth and continuous sessions from licensed, certified and credentalized professionals,specialists and clinicians and  involve long term coverage, referrals, etc. The Church Without Walls does not accept liability for clinical services.  Some of the issues and topics that are frequently addressed in our work include but are not limited to the following:
